Mengo vocational youth centre is a social youth centre that aims at transforming youth through employable practical skills to reduce the increasing un employment levels in Uganda.
It started in 2011 as a community based training centre to majority train skills to vulnerable youths in wakiso town council. it’s on record that wakiso district is among the densely populated districts with unemployed youths in particular wakiso town council, basing on that ground, we saw it necessary to train teenager mothers, orphans and school dropouts with employable skills for self-sustainability , as our major strategic plan.
